My name is Petra Ziere and I am the owner of Villa Zephyr. I lived in the Netherlands all my life before moving to the Dordogne three years ago. When you stay at Villa Zephyr, I make sure everything is prepared for a comfortable and relaxing stay and I will personally welcome you on arrival.

I love life here: cooking with local produce from the market or the vegetable garden, discovering the lovely local restaurants, enjoying the beautiful Dordogne for swimming and canoeing, and the warm colours of the houses that are so characteristic of the region. My personal preferences also form the basis of the tips and places I share with you before and during your stay, so that you can explore the area and its authentic character at your own pace and well prepared. I also enjoy hearing what you are particularly interested in and am always happy to think along with you.

 

During your stay, the house, garden and pool are entirely yours to enjoy with your own party.

Your privacy is very important to me. I live nearby with my partner, Henkes Graven, and am available if you have any questions or practical needs during your stay.

When we were living at Villa Zephyr ourselves, Henkes and I shaped the house with great care into a place we truly came to love. It was also during this time that Henkes, a landscaper and gardener all his life, created the garden with great passion. The garden still plays an important role in the atmosphere of the house, and many of our guests, often garden lovers themselves, take great pleasure in it.
