Thank you for the warm welcome. We enjoyed the many beautiful spots in the garden, the refreshing pool, the silent disco, and of course the beautiful region. Thanks for the tips, such as the trip with the picnic basket to the Marché Gourmand, the tennis court, and the walk there. The region is still a bit of a hidden gem. We enjoyed the delicious baguettes and the dinners with vegetables and fruit from the garden. And also reading a book and playing pétanque—just wonderful. The week flew by. Everything was provided in your beautiful house to ensure we and our children had a wonderful holiday at Villa Zephyr.

"I literally can't put into words what a stunning place this is! Every tiny detail has been thought out and executed with such flair that it's a sight to behold! Henkes has worked absolute magic in the gardens and Petra's interiors are sublime.
As a family we needed stress free down time after a crazy period at work and GCSE hell and boy did Zephyr deliver.
We loved our time sitting, cooking, playing cards and just enjoying the house and gardens. Then as if it couldn't get any better, Petra made the most wonderful suggestions for things to do and places to eat and booked them for us!
Do yourself a favour and book in pronto. They are already booking up for next summer and I wager most will be repeat visitors.

We received an exceptionally warm welcome from Petra and Henkes. We thoroughly enjoyed their beautiful house and garden. The lounge chairs under the apple tree were wonderful, as was eating at the long table under the grapevine. It was also great that you could use the vegetable garden. You can tell that Petra and Henkes have put a lot of care into it. Our children (10 and 13 years old) enjoyed the swimming pool, the outdoor games, and the subboard. There are plenty of tourist activities nearby. Basic amenities, such as a bakery, a supermarket, and a gas station, are close by. And if you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place for you. Absolutely recommended.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Zephyr! A lovely house and garden, so peaceful and spacious. We spent the first week of our holiday there (two adults, three children aged 7 to 12). We had breakfast in the garden every day, heard nothing, and had a stunning view. The house is fully equipped, and it was a real luxury that everyone had their own bathroom. That made a difference in the mornings and evenings after a hot day. The children enjoyed the games (the pétanque court, of course, but the foosball table was also very popular). The pool was wonderful, and we used it frequently. We often marveled at the beautiful garden; it was truly stunning. There's a seating area everywhere, which is nice when it's hot. And we often picked something from the vegetable garden. Very nice! There's plenty to do nearby, and the Dordogne is perfect! Highly recommended, and we'd love to come back!

A romantic, comfortable, and artistic place where you can fully enjoy the garden, the pool, and the unique surroundings (it's a top location!). It quickly became clear to us that seven days at Villa Zephyr is far too short to fully enjoy everything. The region has so much to offer, but Villa Zephyr also tempted us to surrender to complete tranquility and 'dolce far niente' (the sweetness of doing nothing), if we may say so in La douce France.
